Russian Attack in Southeastern Ukraine Kills 4, Injures Others
Kyiv, June 20 (QNA) - The Russian forces shelled Zaporizhzhia city in southeastern Ukraine with glide bombs on Saturday, killing four people and wounding six others, the Governor of Zaporizhzhia Oblast in Ukraine, Ivan Fedorov, said in a post on social media platforms.
Fedorov added that the city came under nine airstrikes, pointing out that some residents are possibly trapped under the bombed-out buildings.
The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has been marked by a striking escalation in recent days, with both sides reciprocally targeting oil facilities and critical infrastructure in the two countries. (QNA)
