Ukraine: 9 Killed in Russian Shelling
Kyiv, June 15 (QNA) - Ukrainian authorities announced on Monday that nine people were killed in Russian shelling that targeted several cities.
The Russian shelling of the capital killed four people and injured 23 others, including a child, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko said on Telegram.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko said that five State Emergency Service rescuers were killed in Kharkiv while fighting fires resulting from repeated Russian attacks, adding that at least five others were injured.
Since the outbreak of war on Feb. 24, 2022, both Moscow and Kyiv have issued near-daily reports on the progress of the fighting and the affected areas. However, the ongoing war and the nature of the fighting prevent complete verification of the accuracy of these reports. (QNA)
