HE President of QU, Dr. Omar Mohamed Al Ansari, met the Kuwaiti delegation, with several officials from both sides in attendance, to discuss cooperation opportunities in the academic domains of shared interest.
They also discussed the mechanisms of advancing the academic exchange program, along with the means of supporting Kuwaiti students enrolled in QU, particularly in medical, health, and engineering majors.

During the deliberations, the two sides shared perspectives on a range of subjects of mutual interest in the higher education sector and exploring future cooperation opportunities that would support education quality and shore up academic and research excellence for the sake of their shared interest.
Dr. Al Ansari underscored QU's enduring commitment to boosting academic and research cooperation and sharing expertise with higher education institutions in GCC nations, stemming from its belief in the significance of institutional partnerships to promote the higher education and scientific research system, as well as serving matters of common development.
Academic and research cooperation is a core pillar in QU's path toward excellence, Al Ansari underlined, emphasizing his keenness to deepen the prospects of this collaboration and foster productive partnerships that help develop higher education and scientific research, as well as share knowledge and expertise to thoroughly benefit all and enhance mutual aspirations to support sustainable development.
For his part, HE Dr. Bader Hasan Al Busairi clarified that the discussions centered on avenues for enhancing academic cooperation among higher education institutions in the State of Kuwait and QU.
The meeting weighed on opportunities available to strengthen academic and research partnerships, in addition to sharing expertise, thereby keeping up with recent trends in the higher education sector and serving the mutual interests of the two nations, Dr. Al Busairi added.
Dr. Al Busairi further stated that the Ministry of Higher Education is committed to reinforcing cooperation with outstanding academic institutions in the region and checking on the situation of Kuwaiti students enrolled abroad to ensure the availability of the best supportive means for their educational and academic pathways.
