Doha, June 11 (QNA) - The Qatar Volleyball Association, in cooperation with its International Federation (FIVB), launched the Level 1 International Coaching Course in Doha, running until June 15.

The course brings together 39 participants from 18 nationalities and is led by international expert Martin Nemec. It includes theoretical and practical sessions on youth coaching, player development, tactics, officiating, and physical conditioning.

Board Member Mohammed Salem Al Kuwari said the course reflects the Association's commitment to developing coaching talent and strengthening Qatar's position as a regional sports hub.

He added that 12 female coaches are participating for the first time, marking a step forward in supporting women in coaching.

The course is part of ongoing efforts to enhance coaching standards and develop volleyball in Qatar. (QNA)
