Beirut, June 11 (QNA) - The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon has risen to 3,711, with 11,483 injured, the Lebanese health ministry said on Thursday.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes attacked several areas and towns in southern Lebanon today, despite the recent US announcement that Lebanon and Israel had reached a ceasefire agreement following the conclusion of a fourth round of negotiations in Washington.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese presidency stated that President Joseph Aoun chaired a meeting today attended by Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal, head of the negotiating delegation Ambassador Simon Karam, and officers of the military negotiating team.

The meeting discussed the outcomes of the two negotiating sessions held in Washington and the details of another meeting scheduled for the last week of this month. (QNA)
