Occupied Jerusalem, May 05 (QNA) - Israeli colonists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque Tuesday under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), citing the Jerusalem Governorate, reported that dozens of colonists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in groups through the Mughrabi Gate, carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals.
The governorate added that these incursions come amid warnings of an escalation led by the so-called “Temple organizations”, in cooperation with figures within the Israeli government, aimed at carrying out large-scale storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday—a move described as dangerous and intended to impose changes to the existing historical and legal status quo within the mosque and to undermine its religious significance.
