Various capitals, May 01 (QNA) - SC Braga defeated SC Freiburg 2-1 today in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League semi-final.
Demir Tiknaz and Mario Dorgeles scored Braga's goals, while Vincenzo Grifo scored Freiburg's consolation. Dorgeles's goal was scored in the dying minutes of the match to give Braga a crucial victory.
In the other semi-final, Nottingham Forest defeated Aston Villa 1-0, with Chris Wood converting from the spot in the 71st minute.
There will be a return leg next Thursday that will determine the finalists. (QNA)
