Amir of Kuwait, US Secretary of State Discuss Bilateral Ties, Latest Developments in Middle East Region
Kuwait, June 24 (QNA) - HH the Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met on Wednesday visiting US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, where they discussed bilateral relations.
During the meeting, they explored the latest regional and international issues, particularly the developments in the Middle East region, and all efforts and endeavors spared to enhance its security and stability.
In a separate meeting, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and US Secretary of State discussed bilateral relations and current development in the Middle East region.
The two sides highlighted their backing for all measures that aim to preserve peace and security around the wider Middle East region.
Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and his US counterpart Marco Rubio reviewed the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region.
The two sides stressed the longstanding strategic partnership between the two friendly countries and peoples, while reaffirming their commitment to further developing bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in a manner that serves the shared interests and aspirations of both countries. (QNA)
