Palestinian Child Shot with Live Ammunition, Dozens Suffocate During Hebron Raids
Occupied Jerusalem, April 28 (QNA) - A Palestinian child was injured by live ammunition and another was detained on Monday evening during an Israeli occupation forces raid on Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron.
WAFA news agency reported that Israeli occupation forces opened live fire and fired sound bombs at residents during the raid, shooting and injuring a child in the foot. Medical sources described his condition as minor.
Another child was also detained, and his identity remains unknown.
Meanwhile, dozens of Palestinian residents suffocated on Monday evening after inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.
WAFA reported that confrontations broke out in the town, during which Israeli occupation forces fired live and rubber-coated bullets, sound bombs, and tear gas canisters at residents, causing dozens of suffocation cases that were treated in the field.
The occupation forces also raided the Qizun neighborhood in Hebron city, assaulted citizens, and damaged several vehicles.
Cities, towns, and refugee camps in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem are witnessing daily raids and incursions into villages and localities by Israeli occupation forces and settlers, accompanied by confrontations and arrests, as well as the firing of live and rubber bullets and the use of tear gas against Palestinians.
