Egyptian, Congolese Presidents Discuss Regional Issues, Bilateral Ties
Cairo, March 29 (QNA) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Congolese counterpart Denis Sassou Nguesso discussed a host of regional and international developments, as well as bilateral ties, during a phone call on Sunday.
According to a statement by the Egyptian Presidency, the call stressed the vital need to resolve conflicts facing several African countries through peaceful means, in a way that preserves peoples' resources, respects state sovereignty, and fosters an environment conducive to achieving progress and prosperity.
The Congolese President also highlighted his country's keenness to further strengthen bilateral relations with Egypt across various fields. (QNA)
