Kuwaiti Interceptors Spot 20 Ballistic Missiles, 9 Hostile UAVs in 24 Hours
Kuwait City, March 25 (QNA) - Kuwait's air interceptors spotted hostile 20 ballistic missiles and nine UAVs in the airspace over the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry said Wednesday.
Highlighting the latest developments in the wake of the Iranian standoff attacks on Kuwait, Col. Staff Saud Al Atwan, the ministry's official spokesperson, added that six hostile UAVs had been vaporized, while two others struck one of the fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport, causing a blaze that was contained by professional personnel.
No human casualties were reported, with the other drone crashing beyond the threat zone, Al Atwan assured, noting that the National Guard's Wajib Mubarak force successfully eliminated one UAV and five drones within the responsibility sites as part of combined efforts among military agencies. (QNA)
