Manama, March 25 (QNA) – Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani met with his Cypriot counterpart, Constantinos Kombos, who is visiting Manama, to discuss ways to strengthen relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

The two sides also discussed regional developments, including Iran's continued aggression against Bahrain, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and other Arab states, and its repercussions on regional security and stability, as well as its impact on international maritime security in the Arabian Gulf, given Iran's continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening joint cooperation to support regional and international efforts aimed at halting Iranian aggression against the GCC and Arab states and the threat to freedom of international navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. (QNA)
