Oil Prices Edge Higher as Brent Hits $100.59 a Barrel
Singapore, October 06 (QNA) - Oil prices edged higher on Tuesday, with Brent crude futures rising 27 cents, or 0.3%, to $100.59 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures gained 30 cents, or 0.3%, to $89.73 a barrel.
The gains came after G7 countries recently agreed to release 100 million barrels of diesel and crude oil from emergency reserves and pledged to refrain from imposing restrictions on energy export, following pressure from US President Donald Trump. (QNA)
