Qatar Participates in GCC Electricity and Water Cooperation Committee Meeting

Manama, October 06 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the 31st ministerial meeting of the GCC Electricity and Water Cooperation Committee, held in Manama, Bahrain.
HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi led Qatar's delegation to the meeting.
The meeting discussed various aspects of cooperation among the Gulf Cooperation Council's member states in the fields of electricity and water, including electricity interconnectivity, water security and growing regional energy demand.
It also reviewed progress made since the previous meeting and affirmed the need for concerted efforts to address challenges and achieve common goals. (QNA)
