Tokyo, January 02 (QNA) - Japan's Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi discussed in a phone call today with US President Donald Trump several regional and international issues of joint interest.

Takaichi highlighted that she is looking into visiting the US early this year to hold direct talks with Tump on their China views, ahead of a summit between the US President and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in April. (QNA)
