Lausanne, August 02 (QNA) - The Qatar men's national volleyball team has advanced to 21st place in the latest FIVB world ranking, according to the newest update issued by the International Volleyball Federation.

This notable rise comes on the heels of the team's stellar performance at the inaugural 2025 AVC Men's Volleyball Nations Cup, recently concluded in Manama, Bahrain.

Qatar's squad clinched the title after edging Bahrain in a thrilling five-set final, 3-2, earning 166.45 ranking points in the global standing.

At the summit of the global rankings, Poland retained pole position with an imposing 390.90 points, fending off a strong challenge from Italy, who settled into second place with 377.26 points.

France rounded out the top three, amassing 353.60 points, while Brazil slotted into fourth with a tally of 350.51. (QNA)
