Doha, July 7 (QNA) - The Department of Da'wah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs has launched the fourth edition of the "Our Summer, Our Way" program, one of the most prominent educational summer programs targeting children aged 10 to 15 years.

The program is being held in 10 Da'wah centers across the country.

The program will continue until the end of July, four days a week, from Sunday to Wednesday, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m.

It features educational and skill-based activities within the centers, as well as external events in cooperation with several government institutions, with the aim of providing a comprehensive educational experience that combines benefit and enjoyment.

Director of the Department of Da'wah and Religious Guidance Jassim Abdullah Al Ali said that the program aims to utilize students' free time during the summer vacation through educational and faith-based content that reinforces moral values and builds basic skills and knowledge for young people.

It also teaches practical acts of worship, interprets Quranic concepts, and engages with educational stories from the Holy Quran.

Al Ali noted that the program is supervised by more than 100 educational preachers from the Ministry, and that approximately 1,300 students have registered.

He highlighted the program's diverse offerings, which include instilling Islamic values such as respect for mosques, dedication to reading, discipline, and kindness to neighbors.

The program also includes external workshops in areas such as first aid and vocal improvement, in cooperation with official bodies including the Ministry of Interior, Hamad Medical Corporation, and the Museum of Islamic Art.

The "Our Summer, Our Way" program is a prominent annual event within the Ministry of Endowments' summer activities, reflecting its commitment to nurturing young people and providing a safe and productive educational environment that contributes to raising a conscious generation with strong values, capable of positively interacting with their surroundings.
