In statements to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the occasion of Qatar National Day, Al Hajri stressed that the occasion holds profound symbolic significance for citizens and residents alike, as it commemorates a pivotal moment in the nation's history, renewing feelings of loyalty, belonging, and pride in national identity, while embodying the unity and solidarity of the Qatari people.
He added that National Day serves as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices of the founding generation, led by Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani, and those who followed his path, inspiring present and future generations to continue the journey of progress and prosperity while preserving the nation’s authentic values and distinctive identity.
Reviewing the Authority's key achievements in 2025, Al Hajri noted that Qatar was re-elected to the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), reflecting renewed international confidence in the State of Qatar and its civil aviation system.

He added that the latest digital technologies and artificial intelligence solutions were also adopted in air traffic management, contributing to higher operational efficiency and enhanced safety standards.
Concluding his remarks to QNA, Al Hajri affirmed that the Authority will continue to develop the performance of the civil aviation sector and further strengthen Qatar's position as a regional and international aviation hub through the continuous modernization of services, advanced training of national cadres, and the signing of new air services agreements with the remaining member states of ICAO, in support of the State's strategic plans and the achievement of the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
