Turkiye, Bangladesh Discuss Cooperation in Energy, Investment

Ankara, June 07 (QNA) - Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar met on Sunday with two Bangladeshi ministers to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector, including supply security, investment and partnership opportunities in several strategic areas.

According to Turkiye's Anadolu Agency, Bayraktar discussed supply security strategies in both countries, as well as investments in renewable energy and nuclear power, during a meeting with Bangladesh's State Minister for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources, Aninda Islam Amit, and State Minister for Investment and Trade, Ashik Chowdhury.

The talks also covered potential cooperation opportunities in the oil and gas sector, including onshore and offshore areas in Bangladesh. (QNA)
