Beirut, June 07 (QNA) - Two people were killed and 20 others injured on Sunday in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut's southern suburbs, Lebanon's Health Ministry said.
The ministry's Emergency Operations Center said in a statement that the strike targeted the Mreijeh area in Beirut's southern suburbs, killing two people and wounding 20 others, including four children and four women.
The Israeli entity has continued to carry out airstrikes in southern Lebanon and Beirut's southern suburbs despite a cease-fire agreement that entered into force on April 16, prompting UN and international warnings about a deterioration in the region's security and humanitarian conditions. (QNA)
