Iraq Extends Airspace Closure for Additional 72 Hours
Baghdad, March 07 (QNA) - Iraq's Civil Aviation Authority announced on Saturday the extension of the country's airspace closure for all arriving, departing and transit flights for an additional 72 hours starting from noon.
In a statement, the authority said the decision was taken following an ongoing assessment of the security situation and regional developments, noting that the measure will be reviewed as conditions evolve.
The closure is part of precautionary steps adopted by Iraqi authorities amid escalating tensions linked to the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran. (QNA)
