Doha, March 04 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Wednesday's trading higher by 79.04 points, or 0.75%, to settle at 10,588.86 points.

During the session, a total of 223,267,071 shares were traded, with a value of QR 602,587,369.999, through 33,430 transactions across all sectors.

Shares of 47 companies advanced, while five declined and two remained unchanged.

At the close of trading, market capitalization stood at QR 630,100,374,376.808, compared with QR 624,478,473,965.914 in the previous session. (QNA)
