Kuwait, August 30 (QNA) - Boursa Kuwait concluded trading on Sunday with its general index rising 17.63 points, or 0.20 percent, to close at 8,912.00 points.
Trading activity reached 336.5 million shares executed across 23,703 cash transactions, with a total turnover of KD 85.9 million (approximately $278.1 million).
The Main Market index advanced 86.87 points, or 0.95 percent, finishing at 9,231.54 points. Volume totaled 226.1 million shares across 15,630 cash deals valued at KD 44.3 million (around $143.4 million).
The Premier Market index edged up 3.80 points, or 0.04 percent, to settle at 9,306.53 points, driven by the exchange of 110.3 million shares through 8,073 cash transactions worth KD 41.5 million (about $134.3 million).
Additionally, the Main 50 index gained 134.88 points, or 1.24 percent, closing at 11,001.08 points following the turnover of 136.5 million shares across 8,997 cash deals valued at KD 28.2 million (roughly $91.3 million). (QNA)
