Doha, August 30 (QNA) - Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Obaidli, a board member of the Qatar Chamber, met with Mehmood Arshad, head of the Pakistani side of the Qatari-Pakistani Business Council, to discuss strengthening bilateral trade and investment.
The meeting focused on bolstering cooperation between the private sectors in Qatar and Pakistan, with an emphasis on key economic and commercial fields.
Al Obaidli expressed the Qatar Chamber's eagerness to foster close ties between Qatari and Pakistani companies through genuine partnerships and mutual investments. He highlighted Qatar's robust economic potential, along with the incentives and facilities provided to attract foreign investment.
He pointed to promising sectors for business owners from both nations, including banking, real estate, trade, and technology, and invited Pakistani companies and investors to invest in Qatar, citing its standing as a key regional hub for logistics and food security backed by advanced infrastructure.
On his part, Arshad affirmed Pakistan's strong interest in leveraging available investment opportunities in Qatar and collaborating with Qatari firms on joint ventures that deliver mutual benefits to both economies. (QNA)
