QSE Index Opens Lower
Doha, March 30 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index declined by 58.71 points, or 0.58%, at the start of trading on Monday, falling to 10001 points from the previous session's close, under pressure from all sectors.
The market was weighed down by Real Estate (-0.27%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.29%), Transportation (-0.68%), Insurance (-0.74%), Industrials (-0.83%), Consumer Goods and Services by (-0.97 %), and Telecoms (-1.80%).
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 82.487 million, with 30.071 million shares traded across 4459 transactions. (QNA)
