Arab Parliament Censures Iran's Attacks on Kuwait Camp, Power and Water Plants
Cairo, March 30 (QNA) - The Arab Parliament has deplored the Iranian-led attack on a camp in the State of Kuwait, using missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, which wounded 10 military personnel, as well as other assaults on power and water desalination plants.
In a statement on Monday, President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yammahi, stressed that targeting critical facilities amounts to a dangerous escalation that imperils the security of nations and their peoples.
The Parliament stands in full solidarity with the State of Kuwait and with Arab nations that have been coming under Iranian attacks and backs all measures they take to protect their security, stability, territories, and sovereignty, Al Yammahi continued.
He added that Iran's incessant belligerence toward Arab nations constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the UN Charter.
This approach has plunged the region into chaos, insecurity, and instability, he warned, calling on the international community to spring into action and take resolute and deterrent measures to halt these Iranian violations against Arab nations. (QNA)
