Doha, November 03 (QNA) - Qatar's Under-17 national team fell 1-0 to Italy in its opening match of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025, held Monday at Mansour Muftah Stadium in Aspire.

The match marked the start of Group A competition in the tournament, which runs through November 27.

Ignacio scored the game's only goal in the 19th minute, securing a full three points for Italy. The result puts Italy level with South Africa, which earlier in the day defeated Bolivia 3-1. (QNA)
