Cairo, April 05 (QNA) - The Arab League strongly condemned the continued Iranian attacks targeting vital civilian facilities in Kuwait, including two power generation and water desalination plants, which caused significant material damage. The attacks also hit ministries complex, oil sector complex in Shuwaikh, and facilities operated by Kuwait National Petroleum Company and Petrochemical Industries Company.

In a statement on Sunday, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit said Iran's ongoing targeting of critical civilian infrastructure and essential services, such as desalination plants, energy and electricity facilities, petrochemicals, civilian airports, transport hubs, and residential areas, along with the intimidation of civilians for over a month despite repeated international condemnations, reflects a reckless and escalatory Iranian approach toward Gulf states that cannot be justified.

Aboul Gheit described these actions as a fully constituted crime under international humanitarian law, for which the Iranian regime bears full responsibility. He reaffirmed the Arab League's full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for any immediate or subsequent measures taken to halt the ongoing attacks on the country and its resources. (QNA)
