Washington, September 03 (QNA) - US President Donald Trump has said the United States has "virtually unlimited supply" stocks of medium- and upper-medium grade ammunition and is producing weapons at unprecedented levels.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the US was prioritizing its own military requirements and stockpiling supplies for any future contingency before resuming sales to allies.
His comments came in response to reports that US ammunition stocks had been depleted during the war with Iran, claims he rejected as false. Trump also criticized the previous administration for supplying weapons to Ukraine, saying his administration would seek payment from European countries for the support previously provided by Washington.
