Beirut, December 29 (QNA) - Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri met with Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, during the latter's visit to Beirut.
The meeting saw the signing of a memorandum of understanding to supply Lebanon with Egyptian natural gas to support electricity generation.
Officials also discussed broader areas of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, signaling a strengthened partnership in energy and other sectors. (QNA)
