Israeli Occupation Arrests 50 Palestinians in West Bank
Occupied Jerusalem, November 25 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched on Tuesday widespread arrests and raids across the West Bank's governorates, arresting at least 50 Palestinians.
Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that the IOF arrested 25 Palestinians in the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, and assaulted them with beatings. The IOF also arrested 10 Palestinians in Ariha city, and Aqabat Jabr and Ain Al-Sultan refugee camps.
In the governorate of Bethlehem, the IOF arrested six Palestinians, six others in the village of Mirka, south of Jenin, and three other Palestinians in southern Nablus, Jenin camp, in addition to Ramallah.
In the same context, the IOF stormed schools and homes in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Al-Khalil, and arrested dozens of Palestinians for hours, abusing them in very cold and rainy weather.
These arrests come as part of the escalating policy pursued by the Israeli occupation in the West Bank, which aims to terrorize Palestinians, restrict their movement, and persecute activists and freed prisoners. (QNA)
