Dozens of Israeli Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa
Occupied Jerusalem, December 22 (QNA) - Dozens of Israeli settlers on Monday stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem under the protection of Israeli occupation police, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).
WAFA reported that the settlers carried out provocative Talmudic rituals and performed the so-called "epic prostration" inside the mosque's courtyards on the eighth and final day of the Jewish so-called "Festival of Lights."
Over the past eight days, thousands of settlers have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque following calls by settler groups to intensify incursions into the holy site and organize provocative marches through the Old City of Jerusalem.
These incursions come amid ongoing efforts by the occupation authorities to erase the Islamic and historical identity of Jerusalem and to implement plans aimed at imposing temporal and spatial division of Al-Aqsa Mosque. (QNA)
