Brussels, April 2 (QNA) - European stock indices closed mixed Thursday, amid concerns about the repercussions of the military escalation between the US and Iran and its impact on global markets.

The pan-European Stoxx 600 index fell by 1.7 points, or 0.28 percent, to close at 595.99 points.

The German DAX index also declined by 184 points, or 0.8 percent, to close at 23,114 points.

The French CAC 40 index dropped by 18.88 points, or 0.24 percent, to close at 7,962.39 points.

Meanwhile, the British FTSE 100 index rose by 71.5 points, or 0.7 percent, to close at 10,436 points. (QNA)
