Doha, July 17 (QNA) - Al Sailiya SC signed defender Matias Nani on a one-season loan from Al Gharafa SC.

The deal comes as part of Al Sailiya's efforts to strengthen its defense ahead of the new season, with Nani bringing solid experience in the Qatar Stars League (QSL), having previously played for Al Shamal and Al Gharafa.

Recently promoted to the QSL, Al Sailiya previously confirmed several signings, including Youssef Snana, Kellian van der Kapp, Abdulaziz Adel, Hussein Ali, Omar Yahya and Ahmed Al Sibai.

The club also renewed the contract of Abdulrahman Mohammed until 2028 and brought back player Awab Al Awad from Spanish side Cultural Leonesa.

Al Sailiya is currently holding a training camp in Slovenia, which runs until August 4, during which the team will play six friendly matches. (QNA)
