Doha, April 30 (QNA) - Police Academy, represented by the Center for Security Research and Studies, organized a scientific seminar titled "Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management: Towards a Flexible and Integrated National System", in cooperation with the Civil Defence Council.

The seminar aimed to review national experiences, exchange best practices, and develop early warning mechanisms, information management, and logistical support, in a way that enhances institutional integration and strengthens preparedness for various emergency situations.

The event was attended by Legal Adviser to the Minister of Interior and General Supervisor of the Police Academy, Major General Dr. Abdullah Yousef Al Mal, and Director-General of Public Security and Deputy Chairman of the Civil Defence Council, Major General Mohammed Jassim Al Sulaiti, along with several department directors and officers.

The seminar addressed two main themes, focusing on institutional challenges, risk registers, and capacity building, as well as national response mechanisms, business continuity, and supporting policies. (QNA)
