Doha, February 17 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met this morning at the Amiri Diwan with HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and the accompanying delegation.

At the outset of the meeting, HH Crown Prince of Bahrain conveyed the greetings of HRH King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain to HH the Amir, and his wishes for health and happiness for His Highness, and for the Qatari people further progress and prosperity.

For his part, HH the Amir entrusted HH the Crown Prince of Bahrain with his greetings to HM the King of Bahrain, and his wishes of Health and wellness for His Majesty, and for further progress and advancement.

HH the Amir and HH the Crown Prince of Bahrain also exchanged greetings on the advent of Ramadan, praying to Allah the Almighty to make it a month of goodness for their respective countries and people, as well as the Arab and Muslim peoples.

The meeting also dealt with discussing the strong fraternal bilateral ties and the means to enhance them, in addition to discussing several regional and international issues of joint interest.

The meeting was attended by HE the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HE Chief of Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi, and several of Their Excellencies Ministers and ranking officials.

The meeting was attended on the Bahraini side by HE Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa, HE Minister of Interior Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa, HH Minister of the Prime Minister's Court Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, and several of Their Excellencies Ministers and ranking officials.

HH the Amir and HH the Crown Prince of Bahrain also held a bilateral meeting, where they exchanged views on current regional and global developments of joint interest.

HH the Amir held a luncheon banquet in honor of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and the accompanying delegation. (QNA)
