Amman, September 16 (QNA) - Jordan condemned an attempt to target Makkah Al Mukarramah with a drone launched by the Houthi group, describing it as a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, a threat to its security, stability and territorial integrity, and a blatant breach of international law. It called the attack unacceptable, saying it showed disregard for the status and sanctity of Makkah Al Mukarramah and offended the sentiments of Muslims.

In a statement, Spokesman for Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Majali, said that his country expressed its absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia and stood with it in all steps it takes to protect its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents. (QNA)
