NCSA Honors Top Performers in National Cyber Drill
Doha, April 16 (QNA) - The National Cybersecurity Agency (NCSA) honored participants in the 2025 National Cyber Drill, titled "Cross-Border Attacks," in recognition of their strong performance in realistic technical, operational, and administrative scenarios.
HE NCSA President Eng. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Farahid Al Malki presented awards to entities that achieved the highest evaluations in the 12th edition of the exercise, held last November.
This recognition reflects the Agency's efforts to motivate government and critical sectors. Cyber exercises help identify technical and administrative gaps and enhance institutional readiness through targeted strategic initiatives.
Director of the Cyber Resilience, Risk, and Insurance Department at NCSA, Mohammed Murshid Al Mannai, stated that 95 entities successfully passed the exercise.
He noted that this edition was exceptional in scale, with over 1,800 participants from 198 entities, including government bodies, universities, service providers, and several Arab countries.
The exercise also hosted the first Arab Cyber Exercise with participation from 21 countries, alongside 11 local universities competing in a Capture-the-Flag (CtF) competition.
He emphasized the Agency's ongoing commitment to strengthening cybersecurity capabilities across all sectors to ensure high readiness against emerging threats. (QNA)
