Doha. October 13 (QNA) - Al Gharafa SC organized a celebration for the first men's basketball team which collected the three season titles (General League, Qatar Cup, and HH the Amir's Cup) during the last sports season (2020-2021).
The event was attended by HE President of Al Gharafa SC Sheikh Jassim bin Thamer Al-Thani and all members of the first team of Al Gharafa Club, and a number of club members in various games.
HH Sheikh Jassim praised the outstanding achievement of the club's basketball team, and thanked the technical and administrative staff and the players after obtaining this well-deserved historical trilogy.
HH Sheikh Jassim said in a press statement that this celebration is the least that can be presented to the players who did their best to win and raise the status of their team and club in various tournaments, expressing his hope to achieve more in the approaching start of the new season (2021-2022).
For his part, head of the club's basketball apparatus Saleh Al Rabbaa, praised the initiative to celebrate the first men's basketball team which achieved the combining of the three titles during the last season, wishing that the team repeating the achievement in the new season, in addition to winning one of the foreign titles whether at the Gulf, Arab or continental level.
