Beirut, April 13 (QNA) - Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Raji discussed in a phone call today the rapidly evolving situation in Lebanon with his German counterpart Johann Wadephul, amid anticipated negotiations with Israel in Washington.
During the call, the Lebanese Foreign Minister explained that his country is seeking a ceasefire through direct negotiations with Israel.
For his part, the German Foreign Minister expressed his country's unwavering support for the Lebanese government's efforts to assert its sovereignty and achieve stability, emphasizing that Germany is working towards a ceasefire in Lebanon. (QNA)
