14 People Injured, Several Homes Damaged in Explosion of Unexploded Ordnance in Syria
Damascus, July 11 (QNA) - Fourteen people were injured and several homes damaged in an explosion of unexploded ordnance in the Nayrab area of Aleppo Governorate, Syria.
The governorate's media office said in a statement that an explosion occurred Friday in a warehouse containing unexploded ordnance in the Nayrab area, east of Aleppo, damaging several surrounding homes.
It indicated that the explosion resulted in 14 civilians being injured with varying degrees of severity.
Civil defense teams provided first aid and transported them to hospitals for treatment, describing their condition as stable.
It noted that the competent authorities are continuing investigations to determine the circumstances of the incident, before announcing the results as soon as they become available. (QNA)
