Ministry of Endowments Issues New Book in Series of Scientific Research

Doha, January 24 (QNA) - The Department of Islamic Research and Studies at the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs has issued the tenth book in the series of research and scientific messages under the theme of selections of the Imam Ibn Farhoun authored by the Judge Dr. Nasser bin Omran Al Kuwari.
Director of the Department of Research and Islamic Studies Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ghanem Al-Thani presented the aforementioned book, highlighting that it sheds the light on the Judicial issues through the jurisprudential blog of one of the ancient Imams, along with the analysis and comparison of Ibn Farhoun's selections with the selections of other jurists, and weighting between them, which develops the jurisprudential talent among jurists and judges.
Serving the Holy Qu'ran and Sunnah by spreading science and supporting scholars, students and researchers is one of the good deeds, which is the primary role performed by the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs through publishing the Sharia research within its keenness to encourage Qatari researchers, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ghanem Al-Thani pointed out.
The book earns a special significance as controlled academic research submitted by the researcher to obtain the PhD degree. The book is considered one of the most important books on judiciary in Maliki school of thought that handles the judiciary matters and Sharia policy. (QNA)
