HH the Amir Receives Verbal Message from Egyptian President

Doha, March 15 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a verbal message from HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El Sisi, concerning developments in the region and the current situation following the blatant Iranian aggression against the State of Qatar and countries of the region, in addition to the efforts being made to reduce tensions and prioritize diplomatic solutions in a manner that contributes to preserving regional security and stability.

HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt Dr. Badr Abdelatty conveyed the message when HH the Amir met him at his office in Lusail Palace Sunday evening.

At the beginning of the meeting, HE the Minister conveyed the greetings of HE the Egyptian President to HH the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and happiness and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity, and reaffirming full support and solidarity with the State of Qatar, and its standing by it in the face of the condemned and unjustified attacks targeting its sovereignty and security.

HH the Amir entrusted HE the Minister to convey His Highness's greetings to HE President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, wishing him good health and wellbeing and the Egyptian people further progress and prosperity.

His Highness expressed his appreciation for Egypt's supportive positions toward the State of Qatar and for its role in supporting the region's stability and enhancing security and stability.

The meeting discussed the close fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to develop them, in addition to discussing the latest regional developments.

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi attended the meeting. (QNA)
