Doha, December 06 (QNA) - Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic described the Brazil squad as "terrifying" ahead of their match in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 quarter-finals on Friday.

Dalic told press that Brazil are a potential World Cup title winner, and they are the strongest and best team at the World Cup, confirming that after following the Brazilian squad, its potential, talents and value, he realized it is really terrifying.

He said that he thinks they are facing a difficult test and task in front of a team that is playing great football and with many players who are efficient and fast.

He expressed that Brazil have self-confidence and there is a great atmosphere within the team. He explained that their players are of high class, but he confirmed that they will not despair, and they have nothing to fear.

The Croatia coach underlined that his team needs to enter the match with faith and self-confidence, looking forward to taking advantage of its opportunities, and enjoy facing Brazil, describing the "Selecao" as a great competitor. He said that he thinks they can take the challenge, need to be smart, and the chance of each team is not 50 percent, but they are also not out of nominations.

The Croatian national team qualified for the quarterfinals of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, beating the Japanese national team 3/1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the original and extra time on Monday.

The Brazilian national team qualified after a big 4-1 victory over the South Korean national team. (QNA)
