Milan, December 06 (QNA) - Inter Milan head coach Simone Inzaghi attributed the reason for the exclusion of goalkeeper Andre Onana from the Cameroon national team during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 to a misunderstanding.

Onana was excluded from the Cameroon squad during the second match of his country's national team at the World Cup against Serbia, and left Doha before the last match against Brazil.

Inzaghi said that he did not think goalkeeper Onana was affected by what happened, adding that he has spoken with the players who participated in the World Cup, confirming that they had four players who reached the quarterfinals.

He continued that Romelu Lukaku and Onana are out, adding that they will arrive between Friday and Saturday and join the team, stressing that physically they are in good shape.
