Doha, December 05 (QNA) - South Korea coach, Paulo Bento, expressed satisfaction with the participation of the Korean team in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
In the post-match press conference, the coach said that the Korean team gave its best performance in the tournament and played with distinction but collided with the best in the world.
"This has undoubtedly been one of the best groups of players I have had the opportunity to work with," said Bento.
The coach congratulated his players on their distinguished level in the tournament and their high abilities, which qualified them to reach this stage.
Bento said Brazil deserved to win, adding that he is sad about the result, but it has been an extraordinary journey for Korean football.
"I believe we can be very proud of what we have done at this World Cup and what we have done over the last four years to get here," said Bento. (QNA)
