Doha, December 05 (QNA) - Brazil hammered South Korea 4-1 in their Monday match at 974 Stadium in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 round of 16 to qualify for the quarterfinal and dedicated their victory to the football legend Pele.

Brazil will take on Croatia in the quarterfinals. Earlier today, Croatia defeated Japan on penalties 3-1 after their tie during regular and extra time of the match.

Brazilian squad achieved their task during the first half of the match after scoring four goals as follows: Vinicius Junior in the 7th minute, Neymar from a penalty kick in the 13th minute, Richarlison in the 29th minute, and the fourth goal was scored by Lucas Paqueta in the 36th minute, while Paik Seung-ho scored South Korea's only goal in the 76th minute.
