Doha, December 05 (QNA) - Portugal coach Fernando Santos said Tuesday's match against Switzerland in the last-16 of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be a difficult encounter, but stressed that his players are determined to win.

Santos was speaking at a press conference held at Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC). He said that the team must be at their best if they were to win, highlighting the importance of remaining organized. He also said that the team was fully focused on the next match, rather than Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer rumors.

The Portuguese coach said his team has what it takes to beat Switzerland, but that the players must be wary of their opponent's desire to win as well.

He highlighted that the focus must be on winning the next match, and as the team progresses further in the competition they will be viewed as one of the teams with chances to win the World Cup. (QNA)
