Among these events are the pavilion of the Ministry of Social Development and Family, the cultural house tent and the Arabic calligraphy art event, which presents a variety of activities in several places in Katara.

The activity of the Ministry of Social Development and Family combines education and entertainment for adults and children in its pavilion near the gift shape building in Katara, with the participation of institutions and centers affiliated with the Ministry, including: Qatar Social Work Foundation, the Social Development Center (Nama), the Shafallah Center for Persons with Disability, and the Family Consulting Center (Wifaq), the Orphan Care Center (Dreama), the Center for Empowerment and Care of the Elderly (Ehsan), Al Noor Institute for the Blind, and the Behavioral Healthcare Center (Daam).

The Director of Communications at Qatar Social Work Foundation Noor Al-Mohannadi, told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that this year's event will last for a month to celebrate the National Day and Qatar hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, to introduce visitors to the services provided by the institutions and centers affiliated to the Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by several activities and events for all members of the family and society, as it presents a daily main event on the stage in interaction with the audience, in addition to the accompanying activities represented in the puzzle game aimed at integrating community members and interacting with them, a coloring and drawing corner for children, a football corner, the PlayStation game, and the FIFA game, as well as a memorial photo corner to document visitors visit to the pavilion.

At the top of the pavilion is a mural showing the goals and programs of the Ministry of Social Development and Family and its affiliated institutions and centers. The foundation participation this year was distinguished by its cooperation with the National Service Academy, which co-organized the shooting simulation event, which combines training and entertainment.

In a related context, the cultural house tent in front of the open theater in Katara represents a daily cultural and social meeting place for guests and residents of Qatar to get acquainted with the features of culture and society in Qatar and the Gulf and its food and lifestyle.

Among the important events in Katara, the Arabic calligraphy art event comes in the yard of buildings 5 and 6 in Katara, to represent a model of diversity and richness in employing the aesthetics and arts of Arabic calligraphy and the multiplicity of used materials, including calligraphy arts on paper, wood and metal, and filling colored sand into bottles, and the use of sand in writing with the participation of specialists in these arts and crafts and professional calligraphers.

This event has attracted the attention and curiosity of visitors from different countries.

In the Black and White exhibition, calligrapher Muhammad Ibrahim presents his paintings and his experience in writing the names of Katara visitors and the World Cup guests from different countries in different Arabic language scripts, along with phrases of their choice, they document an aspect of their visit to Doha, like calligrapher Ahmed Hafez, who explains to the guests of his exhibition the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy and its drawing methods.

Qatar's hosting of the World Cup represents a mirror reflecting the impact of football on culture, and a historical moment that combines entertainment and learning, and sheds light on the influencing elements in the lives and moods of nations and peoples, their cultural and social references, and their legacy of arts, heritage, crafts and professions.
