Doha, December 04 (QNA) - England defeated Senegal 3-0 in the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 on Sunday at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor city.

Goals from Jordan Henderson in the 39th minute, Harry Kane in the 45+3 minute, and Bukayo Saka in the 57th minute booked England's place in the quarter-finals.

The Three Lions will meet reigning champions France on Saturday.

Earlier Sunday, France defeated Poland 3-1 in the last 16 match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 to qualify for the quarter-finals. (QNA)
